Free Bible College Courses

Are you a pastor, who always wanted to attend seminary but never could find the time or finances to attend?

Are you called to the ministry, and now you are looking for ways to prepare?

Are you simply desiring to grow more in your understanding of the Bible and deepen your relationship with Christ?

As a cohort of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Spurgeon College in Kansas City, MO, college-level classes are being offered to those who would like to participate with no cost of tuition. One textbook must be purchased for this class, but this is the only cost for receiving college credit that counts towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree through Spurgeon/Midwestern.

This Spring, the class Survey of New Testament II will be offered, looking deeper at the Romans through Revelation.

Students who complete this course will be able to:

1. Evaluate claims concerning these books’ dating, authorship, and composition in light of the doctrine of inerrancy and through sound historical inquiry.

2. Explain the message and structure of these books in historical, literary, and theological context.

3. Employ sound theological analysis to situate these books within the broader story of Scripture in light of inspiration, progressive revelation, and the supremacy of Christ.

4. Equip believers to read these books devotionally and apply their contents in life and ministry.

Classes will be held at Harmony Baptist Church in Waynesville, MO, on Tuesdays from 6-8 p.m. beginning February 23rd and ending May 15th.
